Dr. Zareen Kiran completed her Fellowship in Diabetes and Endocrinology from The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) and is now working as Assistant Professor Endocrinology at the Dow University of Health Sciences. She is providing inpatient and outpatient endocrine services, teaching postgraduate MSc. Diabetes and Endocrine students in the National Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology (NIDE), and the undergraduate University students. She is also working as a non-full time faculty in AKUH. Currently, she is working on Hypothyroidism and Pregnancy Research Project. She has a special interest in Female Endocrinology and Endocrine disorders of Pregnancy.

At present, he is working as Professor of Medicine and Head of Department, as well as Director of Sir Syed Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology, at Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences, Karachi. He has experience teaching and working at the University of Glasgow, the Royal Infirmary Glasgow, DMC, Dow University, JPMC Karachi, Chandka Medical College Larkana, Peoples Medical College Nawabshah. and he is a senior examiner for the FCPS (Medicine and Endocrine) at College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan and of MD examination at various universities. He is President of Heath Times Academy. He is a member of the Diabetes UK, Caledonian Society of Endocrinology, Scotland, and International Society for Impotence Research, Denmark, AACE, among others.

Founder member of Pakistan Endocrine Society and Medicine & Endocrine Foundation. This NGO rebuild Medical Unit II in 2001 and continues to support all spheres of its activity. Establish another Institute of Diabetes Endocrinology & Metabolism (MIDEM) in the private sector, in 2017. It is purposed to deliver multi-disciplinary, standard of care therapy to patients, train professionals undertake research and engage in preventive medicine ventures. Published numerous articles in national and international journals. Serves on Editorial Advisory Boards of journals and reviews scientific papers and research proposals. Served on the Diabetes Advisory Boards of various pharmaceutical companies and as Dean of the Faculty of Endocrinology at CPSP. Has mentored over 100 Internists and 7 Endocrinologists so far.
