PES CME at Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi

Pakistan Endocrine Society has arranged a one day CME at Medical Unit 1, Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi on July 1, 2010. It was wholy sponsored by Novonordisk. Following topics were discussed:
1. Vitamin-D, vitamin or Vitamone? - by Dr. Abbass Raza, Shaukhat Khanum Hospital, Lahore
2. Diabetes Mellitus - Updates in the Management - by Dr. Osama Ishtiaq, Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad
3. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome - by Dr. Asma Ahmed, Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi
The CME was attended by post-graduate trainees and house officers from local hospitals. It was followed by a distribution of certificates. All participants appreciated the program and asked for similar programs in the future.
