Assalam-o-Alaikum,
The New Year has begun with new hopes, aims & action plans. PES Annual Symposium, last year, in Lahore, was a grand success with participation of over 500 health professionals from all over the country. All the sessions were well attended, having high standard of educative content & interactions among the participants. PES is thankful to all those who attended, sponsored & supported the cause of endocrinology in this country.
In this issue of PES newsletter we have included interesting articles on Acromegaly & Osteomalacia, besides useful information regarding various endocrine activities going on in the country, along with the activities planned by the society for the year 2008.
Dear fellows, your feedback & input is highly needed. If you happen to see any endocrine case which is interesting or is a diagnostic problem, kindly send it for publication in our future issues of PES Newsletter.
Last, but not the least, it is my pleasure to announce that this year PES Annual symposium will be held in Karachi, Insha’Allah. PES expects a heavy turnout, as it was seen in the last annual symposium.
